Myofascial Release

If I were to remove your muscles and bones, you would still keep your shape because your fascia keeps you in your current structure.

Grace Ku

Fascia is a ubiquitous connective tissue that covers us from head to toe, inside and out, all the way down to our cellular level.

The study of fascia is illuminated by observing it with the microscopic camera inside a living human. We can see that healthy fascial is fluid. It can glide and re-align at will. Trauma, injury, and surgery can cause the fascia system to produce tensile pressures of approximately 2,000 pounds per square inch on pain-sensitive structures. Ouch!

I experienced shoulder pain for years and decided to take John Barnes’ workshop (Thanks to Google’s continued education stipend.) The work transformed me by bringing awareness to the root cause. The techniques are safe, gentle, and consistently effective in producing lasting results. I was delighted to see physical therapists, osteopaths, and dentists in the workshop. Myofascial Release is a hands-on therapy that supports your fascia health.

Myofascial release sessions are performed directly on the skin; the best attire is a two-piece bathing suit or loose shorts. Sign up for lasting results and authentic healing.
